Simone Johnson, the daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has officially signed a WWE contract to become a wrestler.
Simone, who is the oldest daughter of Johnson and Dany Garcia reported to the WWE Performance Center, where she will begin her training to become a WWE Superstar.
WWE made the announcement on its various social media channels on Monday, February 10.
According to the announcement;
Simone will look to carry on the legacy of the Johnson-Maivia Family, a lineage that includes her great-grandfather, WWE Hall of Famer High Chief Peter Maivia and her grandfather, WWE Hall of Famer ‘Soulman’ Rocky Johnson.
When Simone her WWE in-ring debut, her father, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be the first fourth-generation star in promotion history.
Her father is one of the biggest names in WWE history and now one of the most successful stars in Hollywood.
Her grandfather was the late Rocky Johnson, an African American pro-wrestling pioneer.
While, her great-grandfather — The Rock’s grandfather — was “High Chief” Peter Maivia.
Dwayne Johnson in his reaction took to Instagram and said;
To the little girl who fell in love with wrestling & said this will be my life one day, this is for you. I’m humbled, grateful & ready to work. Let’s do this.
Simone Johnson has been training at the Performance Center on and off since 2018, though she was in high school at the time.
This move to Orlando will be full time with an eye toward a career in WWE.
