OnlinePikin-Africa reports that some expatriates living in Nigeria have joined the #EndSARS protests in Lekki, to speak against #PoliceBrutality and other extrajudicial actions of the police, while at the same time calling on the government to ensure improved welfare and security of expatriates and citizens in the country.
In another development, the #EndSARS movement have birthed an online radio called ‘Soro Soke’ Radio, which is the ‘Yoruba’ acronym for ‘Speak Up’ and let your voice be heard, all against #PoliceBrutality
Meanwhile protests around the country have heightened, thereby increasing tensions even though the protesters have been peaceful. Youths keep marching on the streets for the past 12 days calling on the government to fix issues of police brutality, reform the police and other pertinent issues in the country.
