WhatsApp messenger app has been restored by Meta, its parent company hours it was reported to be down across the globe.

OnlinePikin had earlier reported that users across Nigeria and the world had complained in the early hours of Tuesday that messages cannot be sent or received on the platform.

Two hours after the downtime, the app has been restored and messages can now be sent and received across WhatsApp.
