Turkish side, Galatasaray has reached an agreement with Italian side Napoli to sign Nigerian international striker Victor Osimhen on a season-long loan before the Turkish transfer window closes.
The Nigerian forward is now the subject of a potential loan move to the Istanbul-based club, after a fall-out with the club, following a failed transfer to Saudi and Chelsea on transfer deadline day.
Renowned football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio and transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano, confirmed the report on Monday, noting that the deal does not include an option to sign the Nigerian permanently.
Osimhen has accepted the loan offer to join Galatasaray.
According to a statement on Fabrizio Romano’s X handle on Monday, Napoli’s release clause has been reduced from €130m to €75m
The move also gives the Nigerian forward an option to break the clause for January in case top clubs approach him over a move.
Final points being discussed.
