Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Reportedly Ready for Another Baby

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly ready to give their 15-month-old son, Archie, a sibling!

“Now that they’re comfortable in their new home and everything else in their lives is locked in and going well, Meghan’s told Harry it’s baby time,” a source told Us Weekly in an article published on September 23. “She’s ready to be a mom again and can’t wait to start the process!”

According to the source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “really excited” at the prospect of expanding their family. “Meghan loves being a mom, and seeing how happy and complete Harry is with Archie by his side is richly rewarding for her,” the source continued. “Meghan’s confident a second child will be perfectly manageable on a practical level and will bring them even more love and joy. She and Harry are both really excited for the next phase of their family journey.”

The former senior royals recently relocated to the Santa Barbara area of Los Angeles, at least partially for the sake of their son’s privacy. In July 2020, the Sussexes’ attorney filed a complaint with the State of California after discovering a photographer had been “shopping photographs” of Archie that appeared to be taken around their residence, according to documents obtained by E! News.

As the couple settles into their new family home, it seems they’ve also been getting their affairs in order overseas. Earlier this month Prince Harry and Meghan Markle paid back the taxpayer money used to renovate their Frogmore Cottage estate back in the U.K. The cost for the renovations is estimated to have been around $3 million, but the duke and duchess reportedly felt this was an “important step” towards establishing their independence.

And now, in true American fashion, Markle and Prince Harry made a rare television appearance to discuss the importance of voting (even though the duke will be unable to do so himself).

“We’re just six weeks out from Election Day, and today is National Voter Registration Day. Every four years, we are told the same thing, that ‘this is the most important election of our lifetime,’” Markle said. “But this one is. When we vote, our values are put into action and our voices are heard. Your voice is a reminder that you matter. Because you do. And you deserve to be heard.”
