OpenAI disclosed that having a universal basic income is necessary to curb global unemployment.
Musk, 50, made this known at the World Government Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
According to the quintessential entrepreneur, ‘There will be fewer and fewer jobs that a robot cannot do better’ due to the rise in robotic machines and artificial intelligence, as robots are taking over human jobs.
As such, he proposed the world have some kind of ‘universal basic income’ to curb unemployment.
‘Ultimately, I think we have to have a ‘unversal basic income’ to curb unemployment, describing the development as a massive social challenge across the globe.
